Summary
The client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Atlassian Suite Administrator to support the administration, optimization, and continued evolution of their Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, and related tools. This role supports enterprise project and portfolio management, governance standards, and cross-functional collaboration by delivering scalable solutions, improving processes, and enabling consistent execution across teams. The ideal candidate brings strong Atlassian platform expertise, a solid understanding of PMO operations and governance, and the ability to translate business needs into effective tool configurations and operational improvements.

Atlassian Administration
Manage administration of Jira, Confluence, JSM, and JPD.
Design and configure workflows, issue types, fields, and screens to support delivery standards.
Strengthen access controls and role-based security practices.
Build and maintain automation, integrations, and plug-ins.
Support and expand Rovo Chat and Rovo Agents capabilities.
Create dashboards, reports, and analytics that improve project and portfolio visibility.
Drive audits that protect system performance and data integrity.
Deliver user support, documentation, and training that enable adoption.
Enterprise PMO Operations & Support
Partner with the EPMO leadership team to standardize project and portfolio management processes within the Atlassian environment.
Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, templates, and project lifecycle tools.
Create and manage project intake, prioritization, and approval workflows in Jira to support strategic alignment.
Work through ambiguity to gather information required to make decisions.
Continuous Improvement
Increase Atlassian adoption across the Enterprise to improve team performance and collaboration.
Evaluate Atlassian features, add-ons, and best practices to enhance the project management ecosystem.
Promote Atlassian and PMO best practices through training, coaching, and communication.

Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
3+ years of experience administering Atlassian apps (Jira/Confluence/JSM/JPD)
Minimum of six (6) years of work experience, with two (2) years of direct project management experience (leading projects, managing meeting deadlines, developing policies and guidelines, communicating priorities, and collaborating with business partners)
Solid understanding of PMO operations, governance frameworks, and project lifecycle management.
Solid project management skills: minimum of three (3) years' experience managing projects to successful completion including the ability to navigate complex environments, effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks, and concerns to management
Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project methodologies within Jira.
Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL), workflow design, and automation rules.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred:
o Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-JA, ACP-600, ACP-120).
o Experience with Advanced Roadmaps and Portfolio for Jira.
o Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools for executive dashboards.
o Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM, PMP, or Lean/Agile methodologies.
o Experience integrating Atlassian tools and AI technologies and other applications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
