Position Description
The Ford IT Staff WorkTech Team is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join a lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) team. This role involves daily participation in paired programming, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
You will collaborate closely and continuously with fellow engineers, product owners, and multiple stakeholders. This is a highly visible position within the IT Staff Team.
The team is currently developing applications supporting Return to Work initiatives, as well as an Employee Performance Management application with global impact.

- Engineer 3 level experience

- Hosting solutions such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Google Cloud
- Zero-downtime, blue-green deployment strategies
- Database schema management using H2 and Liquibase
- Supporting migrations for updates and new data centers
- OAuth and ADFS authentication
- Integration with third-party services such as LDAP, O365, and WebEx
- HIPAA & PII data handling and encryption
