ServiceNow Architect for Parttime role

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in ServiceNow ITSM automation, IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies. This is a part-time, US-based role focused on driving automation, operational efficiency, and intelligent monitoring within enterprise IT environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AIOps, event correlation, CMDB optimization, and integration with monitoring and security platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM automation solutions across L1 L3 service desk operations
• Apply Lean Six Sigma Black Belt principles to improve processes and achieve 40%+ ticket deflection
• Architect and optimize CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for accuracy and service mapping
• Implement AIOps-driven event correlation to reduce noise and improve incident response
• Integrate ServiceNow with tools such as SolarWinds and Rapid7 for monitoring and security workflows
• Design and enhance NOC/SOC alerting frameworks
• Identify automation opportunities across incident, problem, and change management
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide advisory and hands-on expertise for ITSM and ITOM best practices

Required Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required)
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect / ITSM Automation Lead
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM modules
• AIOps and event management
• CMDB design and governance
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with:
• SolarWinds
• Rapid7
• Other monitoring / security tools
• Expertise in service desk automation (L1 L3) and ticket deflection strategies
• Deep understanding of NOC/SOC operations and alerting systems
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM)
• Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript in ServiceNow), APIs, and workflow automation
• Prior consulting or SME advisory experience
