Sr. Software Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join a collaborative team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will create modern web application features across the frontend and backend, helping deliver reliable user experiences and scalable services. You will partner with product teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions while contributing to quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Develop full-stack functionality by building interactive React interfaces, creating backend services in C# and .NET Core, and implementing efficient data access patterns.
Shape and maintain application state management using Redux, including reducers, actions, selectors, and asynchronous workflows that support evolving platform needs.
Design and deliver RESTful APIs that connect frontend experiences with core systems and service-based architectures in a clean and maintainable way.
Expand automated test coverage by contributing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across both client-side and server-side applications.
Collaborate closely with product partners, engineers, and cross-functional team members to deliver solutions aligned with user and business goals.
Gather and clarify technical and functional expectations through direct communication with business stakeholders and internal teams.
Build reusable UI patterns and shared components that promote consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability across the application.
Support integration work between established systems and newer services as backend architecture continues to evolve.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience working with React or Angular in production environments.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing application state with Redux.
At least 3 years of experience developing with C#, .NET, and relational databases.
Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, including ES6+ features and contemporary frontend development practices.
Demonstrated expertise with React 18+, reusable component design, asynchronous data handling, and production-grade Redux architecture.
Solid experience building web services with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API frameworks.
Familiarity with frontend and backend tools such as React Router, Axios or Fetch, Jest or similar testing frameworks, Git, Node.js, Dapper, and Json.NET.
Working knowledge of web application behavior including cookies, session storage, request lifecycles, and databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
