Location: Peachtree City, GA
Type: 6 Month Contract with potential for extension or conversion
Panasonic is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Failure Analysis team with activities related to overall analysis of defective electronic parts coming back from automotive companies.
This position is responsible for conducting basic defect investigations on low to moderately complex issues and assisting Failure Analysis Engineers with related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform defect investigations under moderate supervision on components including circuits, PCB's, etc.
- Perform component level troubleshooting of systems
- Assist senior engineers in designing experiments to:
- Confirm defect root causes.
- Replicate failure modes.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions for testing and analysis.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of test results.
- Operate standard lab equipment including multimeters, microscopes, and X-ray machines (if applicable).
Required Skills & Experience
- AAS in Electronic Engineering Technology OR BS Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (Not required)
- Soldering QFN,QFP,BGA components (a plus)
- Reading and interpreting schematics. (a plus)
- Use of hand tools and multimeters.
