Summary

Role: Lead Data Scientist

Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Lead end to end data science initiatives from problem framing to production deployment
Design develop and optimise ML models using Python Spark MLlib and Databricks
Build scalable data pipelines and features on AWS using Databricks and Delta Lake
Perform advanced statistical analysis machine learning and predictive modelling
Implement MLOps practices using MLflow CICD pipelines and model monitoring
Optimise Spark jobs for performance scalability and cost efficiency
Collaborate with data engineers architects and business stakeholders
Translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights
Ensure data quality governance and security across AWS environments
Work with AWS services such as S3 Glue IAM and Redshift
Mentor junior data scientists and review modelscode for best practices
Drive experimentation AB testing and model performance evaluation
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Stay current with emerging data science AIML and cloud technologies
