Title Citrix VDI Architect Location : Columbia, SC - Remote Duration : 12 + Months Job Type : C Description : Daily Duties / Responsibilities: Candidate must be able to meet all CUI Requirements. Mid-Senior level Citrix VDI Architect will be responsible for providinglevel-2 and level-3 technical support for Citrix/XenApps server environment.This position will analyze and evaluate major system project requirements ofconsiderable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parametersaffecting and interfacing with the system. Review user requirements and providedirection in the identification of problem and potential resolution. Provideanalytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation ofcomplex, multiple inter-linked systems. Define system objectives and preparesystem design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interfaceproblems. Job duties willinclude, but are not limited to the following: · Responsibilities : * Providing level-2 and level-3 technical support for Citrix / XenApps serverenvironment * Monitoring of VDI platform with various client tools Netscaler, ControlUP) * Support will include: * VDI End-User Sessions * VDI Stack * Level-2 management and technical support * Ensuring virtual sessions are working as intended * Handling IT- VDI related requests or inquiries received by client helpdesk * Ensuring all Citrix platform server systems under management have updatedsoftware patches * XenDesktop Broker including VDI monitoring and alerting support of the Citrix/VMware applications which are responsible for delivery of the virtualizeddesktop or applications * Ensure high levels of client satisfaction for the products/solutions whichare supported * Addresses all technical questions around VDI and Citrix * Participate in client meetings to update team members * Ability to be the technical Subject Matter Expert within the Environment *Deploy and support core Microsoft services, AD, ADFS, DNS & DHCP, WSUS andGroup Policy. · Qualifications Skills, Experience & Qualifications : * Advanced system testing tool knowledge & experience * Strong technical experience with the following technologies: * Citrix Xen Desktop * Citrix Xen Server * Microsoft Windows infrastructure. * Ability to work well within a team environment * Experience with Workflow analysis * Technical collaboration for client problem solving * Ability to apply best practices to ensure maximum amount of production * Ability to provide one-on-one training to teammates

- I understand that I must use the Granite Secure VDI to view, store, process, or transmit regulated research data (CUI, Export Control, etc.) from onsite University work locations and/or my approved remote work site as defined in my approved remote work agreement. (CMMC v2: PE.L2-3.10.6)
