Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in managing complex projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, budget management, and cross-functional team leadership.

The candidate should have a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

2. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation strategies, and delivery schedules.

3. Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, product owners, and senior leadership to define project objectives and deliverables.

4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

5. Identify project risks, dependencies, issues, and constraints, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

6. Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.

7. Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and other technical resources.

8. Manage project scope, change requests, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

9. Ensure effective communication and coordination between business and technical teams.

10. Track project budgets, resource utilization, project costs, and overall financial performance.

11. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and operational efficiency.

13. Manage vendor relationships, third-party dependencies, and external delivery partners.

14. Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements, compliance standards, and organizational quality expectations.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.

• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Smartsheet.

• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.

• Knowledge of SDLC, software development processes, and IT project delivery.

• Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.

• Experience with risk management, issue tracking, change management, and dependency management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with project governance, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 10+ years of overall experience in project management, preferably within IT or software development environments.

• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, and cross-functional projects.

• Strong experience in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.

• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and deliverables.

• Experience leading distributed and geographically diverse teams.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe certification is highly desirable.
