Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer I, you will contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of electronic systems that power high-performance defense and mission-focused solutions. This is an opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while working alongside experienced engineers on meaningful programs with real customer impact. You will support product development from concept through testing, gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration, and help deliver reliable, cost-conscious solutions that meet demanding requirements. Essential Functions

  • Support the design, development, and analysis of electronic systems, subsystems, and components for mission-driven products.
  • Contribute to product testing, troubleshooting, and design improvement efforts to help ensure technical performance and reliability.
  • Review customer requirements and engineering specifications and help translate them into practical, effective design solutions.
  • Use engineering tools, simulations, and analysis software to evaluate designs and support technical decision-making.
  • Compile, interpret, and communicate design and test data to keep programs moving forward and stakeholders informed.
  • Evaluate components, suppliers, and technical options with performance, manufacturability, and cost in mind.
  • Build and support prototypes to reduce technical risk and validate design approaches.
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to deliver assigned work on time and to technical expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, including internship, co-op, academic lab, or project experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to practical design and development work.
  • Exposure to electronic system design, development, analysis, or test through coursework, projects, or early career experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend design improvements using sound engineering judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share progress, document work, and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance while managing assigned tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
