Job Description:
· Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
· Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
· Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and validation.
· Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
· Assist with data integration from APIs, files, applications, and other sources.
· Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
· Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-processing issues.
· Collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and business teams.
· Assist with cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Document data pipelines, processes, database structures, and technical procedures.
· Follow software development best practices, including Git, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
· Support improvements to data reliability, scalability, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or a related technical field.
· Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
· Working knowledge of Python.
· Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
· Familiarity with Git/GitHub and basic software development practices.
· Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and programming fundamentals.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Familiarity with Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Kafka, or similar data technologies.
· Knowledge of data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
· Experience with Docker and CI/CD concepts.
· Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data.
· Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
· Understanding of data modeling and database design.
· Internship, academic, or personal projects involving data pipelines or cloud data platforms.
