On-site (Springfield, IL) presence during the first week is required for onboarding purposes - Cost will be reimbursed by divihn.
 
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with 7.5 hours per day.
 
Job Description:
 
Position Overview
  • Seeking a Salesforce Administrator to support the administration, optimization, and ongoing improvement of Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform administration, reporting, dashboards, data management, security, and configuration.
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), particularly licensing and permitting, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio is a plus.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, configure Salesforce solutions, maintain data quality, improve business processes, and ensure the platform continues to effectively support organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day Salesforce platform administration, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, flows, approvals, and user permissions.
  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and report solutions to support business and management decision-making.
  • Perform data management activities including data imports, exports, updates, cleansing, validation, and data-quality monitoring.
  • Analyze Salesforce data and identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Support business users by troubleshooting Salesforce issues and providing guidance on platform functionality.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable Salesforce configurations and solutions.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, release management, and documentation of Salesforce changes.
  • Monitor system performance, data quality, security, and overall platform health.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve Salesforce adoption and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, integrations, and administrative procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on Salesforce initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement of Salesforce processes, functionality, and reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator- 7 years of experience 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform administration and configuration.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data management and data quality.
  • Experience with Salesforce security and access controls, including profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and process automation.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
  • Experience supporting licensing and permitting processes within Salesforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Experience working with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or migrations.
