Position Details:

Ignition Training Coordinator-Hybrid- Evansville, Indiana

Location : Evansville, Indiana 47708 (Hybrid)

Project Duration : 3+ Months Contract (Contract to hire)

Pay Rate : $35 - $38 an hour

Role Description Skills:

Key Responsibilities

Training Development & Preparation
Finalize and refine Ignition training materials, including presentations, user guides, job aids, and hands-on exercises
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams to ensure training content reflects current system configurations and workflows
Validate training environments, datasets, and demo applications prior to delivery
Training Delivery
Oversee and facilitate onsite, instructor-led training sessions for Ignition users at various skill levels
Deliver focused training on user interface theory and other non-Ignition-specific topics
Gather user feedback and identify gaps to improve training effectiveness and user adoption
Coordination & Support
With client, coordinate training schedules and logistics for onsite sessions
Provide post-training support, documentation updates, as needed
Track training completion and report outcomes to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Experience delivering technical or software training in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Working knowledge of Ignition software (Inductive Automation), particularly HMI/SCADA user interfaces
Strong presentation and facilitation skills for onsite, hands-on training
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instruction
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
Familiarity with MES, SCADA, or industrial automation systems
Experience developing training materials (slides, manuals, quick-reference guides)
Ignition certification or formal training

User-focused mindset with emphasis on usability and adoption
Collaboration across technical and operational teams
Flexibility to support changing training needs and schedules
