Job DescriptionYou will be a Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager in the Orlando Software Engineering Department. This role is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle.

What You Will Be DoingAs the Embedded Software Engineering Associate Manager you will lead the Simulation Framework effort, driving end-to-end software delivery for embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments.
- Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools.
- Lead recruitment, training, salary planning, and competency development; act as the technical conscience for the program.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
