We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our fast-paced, thriving construction company. This role is integral to our business operations, as it requires managing multiple commercial construction projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project execution, team leadership, budget management, subcontractor procurement, coordinating superintendents, risk management, CPM scheduling, contract management, and pre-construction. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Commercial Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple commercial construction projects from beginning to end.
2. Developing full-scale project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Managing and coordinating project teams, including on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of updates and changes.
4. Conducting risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions.
5. Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
6. Managing contract and price negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
7. Coordinating with superintendents to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Leading and managing pre-construction activities, including design, procurement, and planning.
9. Regularly reporting project status to stakeholders, including progress, risks, and issues.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Commercial Project Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
2. Proven experience in construction management, project execution, team leadership, and budget management.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent skills in subcontractor procurement, coordinating superintendents, risk management, CPM scheduling, contract management, and pre-construction.
5. Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a diverse team.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Proficiency in project management software tools.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
