Onsite in Cincinnati, OH

The Senior Product Owner will lead an agile engineering squad to deliver and scale an AI agent chatbot for customer service. The role will define and prioritize product roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and manage production deployments using a modern stack that includes AWS Connect, Lambda, and ECS. The position requires prior experience launching AI chatbot or agent solutions to production and strong product management in Agile or SAFe environments. The work will focus on value delivery, risk mitigation, compliance, and continuous improvement of customer interactions.

Rate: $65.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Motivate engineering teams to execute strategy and roadmap for the AI agent chatbot from development through production deployment.
  • Partner with business functions, IT, Risk, Business Controls, and Operations to define and execute product strategy.
  • Collaborate with Lines of Business, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Fraud, and Architecture to support delivery.
  • Provide transparency and communications to stakeholders on development progress and production performance.
  • Make decisions to support regulatory and compliance needs, new revenue growth, process optimization, and analytics.
  • Engage in all phases of development including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Resolve issues with engineering and subject matter experts to drive customer-centric outcomes.
  • Coordinate with research teams on usability testing and validation of chatbot interactions.
  • Partner with third-party AI and platform vendors to manage releases, remediate defects or outages, and ensure seamless experiences.
  • Maintain product documentation, training materials, and knowledge bases for the chatbot.
  • Promote an Agile mindset, maintain a healthy backlog, and participate in team ceremonies.
  • Evangelize chatbot capabilities and roadmap to internal groups.

Experience Requirements:
  • Experience bringing new products to market.
  • Experience working with Agile development teams.
  • Experience building and deploying AI chatbot or agent systems to production.
  • Product management background with ability to influence across the organization.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe development.
  • Ability to consult and articulate key messages at all organizational levels.
  • Business acumen and understanding of product and customer-related processes.
  • Collaborative approach with problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as Connect, Lambda, and ECS (preferred).
  • Experience working with and deploying AI solutions (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
  • AWS-related certification (preferred).
  • Scrum-related certification (preferred).
