Summary

Job Title: Release Trainee Engineer- RTE/ Scrum Master

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 6-12 Months

Work Mode: Onsite

Job Description:

  • Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Has over Four (4) years of experience working as a Release Train Engineer, Five (5) years of experience working as a Scrum Master and Five (5) years and as a Project Manager.
  • Drive program/release level processes for an Agile Release Train demonstrating stellar servant leadership, coupled with domain knowledge and technical savvy.
  • Mentor and coach Agile Release Train on Agile/Lean/SAFe principles. Escalate impediments, manage risks, dependencies and resourcing needs.
  • Facilitate Program Increment planning meetings with leadership, business stakeholders, and product management and delivery teams on the Agile Release Train(s). Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and maintain detailed business and technical requirements (Waterfall methodology) or user stories (Agile methodology).
  • Stakeholder Communication and Liaison: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding, alignment of project goals, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Validation, Verification, and Quality Assurance: Coordinate and participate in testing and UAT activities to ensure requirements/user stories are accurately implemented and final deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Change and Risk Management: Manage changes to requirements/user stories, assess their impact on project scope, timeline, and resources, and identify and mitigate related risks.
  • Project Planning and Continuous Improvement: Assist in project planning activities, such as creating timelines and resource allocation plans, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve requirements management/user stories processes and tools.
  • Extensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Waterfall, Agile Scrum and Rational Unified Process (RUP).
  • Experience in facilitating Sprint Ceremonies (Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) for each of the Agile SCRUM methodology sprints as a SCRUM master.
  • Expertise in handling SCRUM artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Sprint Burn Down chart
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI and autonomous AI systems that can act independently to achieve pre-determined goals without constant human oversight.
  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
