Are you a seasoned CNC Machinist/Programmer with a passion for precision and an eye for detail? We are an innovative manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a problem solver who enjoys working with their hands, and a team player with excellent communication skills. This role involves the creation and modification of CNC programs, setup and operation of CNC machines, and quality control of finished products. If you have a knack for precision, a love of problem-solving, and a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM programming.
2. Setup and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
3. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
5. Conduct quality inspections of machine parts using precision measurement tools.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and parts.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
8. Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and overall product quality.
9. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
10. Stay current with the latest machining technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer.
2. Proficiency in CAM programming and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM).
3. Extensive experience with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
4. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
5. Solid knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machine setups.
6. Excellent mechanical skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong mathematical skills, particularly in geometry and trigonometry.
8. Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
11. High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or degree in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
