Summary
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
The selected candidate will serve as a Lead ServiceNow Developer and ServiceNow Administrator, providing hands-on technical leadership while working with stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams. The role requires deep expertise across ServiceNow modules, enterprise integrations, ITSM/ITOM/ITAM/CMDB, security, automation, DevOps, and platform architecture.
Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementation and modernization initiatives.
Serve as the technical lead and ServiceNow Administrator for the platform.
Perform hands-on configuration, customization, development, integrations, and administration.
Provide quality assurance and technical oversight for project deliverables.
Lead architecture discussions with executives and stakeholders covering scalability, risks, modernization, and platform strategy.
8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, customization, and administration experience.
5+ years of experience across ServiceNow ITBM, DevOps, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, ITSM, and Change Management practices.
5+ years of experience with ServiceNow modules/processes such as:
User Provisioning
Incident
Problem
Change
Asset
CMDB
Service Catalog
5+ years designing and developing ServiceNow integrations involving:
Azure AD / Entra ID
SSO
MID Server
REST/SOAP Web Services
Other enterprise integration technologies
4+ years of strong communication experience leading ServiceNow implementations, presenting to leadership, and training junior/less-experienced staff.
Experience serving as a Lead Developer on 5+ end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Strong experience with enterprise ServiceNow architecture and integrations.
Experience working with remote/distributed teams.
8+ years of ServiceNow industry/project experience.
5+ years holding ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist certifications.
5+ years creating technical documentation, including:
Technical Design Documents
Implementation Plans
Configuration Plans
5+ years implementing core ServiceNow processes:
User Provisioning
Incident
Problem
Change
Service Catalog
Request
CMDB
3+ years of programming experience with technologies such as:
Java
JavaScript
SQL
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
ServiceNow Implementation certification.
