Summary

We are seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to design and implement solutions supporting trading and order management workflows within capital markets systems.

In this role, you will contribute across the full trading lifecycle, working with WPF- and WCF-based applications. We expect to use AI engineering and database practices to ensure reliable performance in large-scale operational systems. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ownership of feature delivery and participation in on-call support rotations.

This role is based in Spain, with relocation support available for qualified candidates currently located in Georgia. Learn more about the benefits EPAM Spain provides in the description below.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the business need and design the proper solutions
  • Provide efficient and clean code to run the projects
  • Perform thorough testing of all implementations
  • Ship developed features and solutions to production
  • Provide on-call support (24/7) on rotation every 4 weeks, compensated additionally

Requirements

  • Experience in leading the project teams for at least 1 year
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development
  • Knowledge of WPF and WCF
  • Expertise in SQL, specifically T-SQL for robust database management
  • Familiarity with data exchange formats like XML and JSON
  • Proficiency in full stack .NET/C# development
  • Competency in modern programming languages and architectures
  • B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of capital markets, trade workflows, structure of exchanges and regulatory framework
  • Experience in development of Trade & Order systems (Order, Trade, Execution, Reconciliation)
  • Knowledge of Charles River, Tradeweb, and other similar vendor systems
  • Skills in FIX, FIXML, and Tibco products
