We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer / Tableau & Cube Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake SQL, Tableau reporting, and OLAP Cube/Semantic Layer technologies with a proven ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable, high-performing reporting solutions. This role involves partnering with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, developing interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing reporting performance across Snowflake and Tableau environments. Experience with multidimensional data models, semantic layers, and cube technologies is highly desirable.
Job Description:
Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards, reports, and data sources for business users.
Write and tune Snowflake SQL to support reporting needs (views, transformations, aggregations, KPI logic).
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, and translate needs into scalable reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and documentation of definitions (KPIs, dimensions, filters).
Improve performance of Tableau workbooks and Snowflake queries (efficient joins, clustering/partition strategies where applicable, minimizing extract refresh costs).
Manage Tableau publishing lifecycle (dev/test/prod), permissions, refresh schedules, and dashboard governance best practices.
Create and maintain reporting documentation (data dictionaries, metric definitions, dashboard guides).
Experience with OLAP Cubes / Semantic Layers (e.g., SSAS Tabular/Multidimensional, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI datasets, or other cube technologies).
Understanding of cube concepts: measures, dimensions, hierarchies, calculated members, aggregations, and query patterns.
