A Cloud Transformation Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and strategic goals. The role blends technical cloud expertise with project management skills, stakeholder communication, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables for cloud transformation projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to align cloud initiatives with organizational goals.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.
• Cloud Migration & Modernization
• Lead migration of applications, data, and infrastructure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Oversee adoption of cloud-native services, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Risk & Compliance
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Performance Monitoring

• Track project KPIs and deliverables.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and optimize future initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), hybrid cloud models, and migration strategies.
• Project Management: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Leadership: Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
