Epic Systems Project Manager/Analyst (Informatics – EPIC Clinical)

Summary
We are seeking an Epic Systems Project Manager/Analyst to provide systems project management, software support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for our client’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and other supported clinical applications.  This role will play a key part in selecting, developing, implementing, testing, and documenting clinical software solutions to support organizational needs.  As a core member of our client’s team, you will help improve IS services across their operations and those of their affiliated business partners.

Success in this role requires strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and analytical support for Epic EHR and related clinical applications.
  • Participate in system selection, design, development, implementation, and optimization initiatives.
  • Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing system support.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and workflows.
  • Collaborate with IS Leadership and clinical teams to improve service delivery and system performance.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Informatics or related fields including Medicine, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or other health-related disciplines.

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification.
  • Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CPHIT) certification.
