Job Title: ERP & Infrastructure Support – BAAN IV / Infor with 10+ years experience
Location: Remote (Quarterly Travel Required – NYC / Philadelphia Area)
Duration: 12+ Months
Immediate joiner in short notice
Rate:$..?/hr c2c all inclusive
Initial Engagement: Part-time (10–20 hours per week for the first 3 months)
Future Engagement: Opportunity to convert to Full-Time (contract 40 hours a week) for long-term support
Work Location: Primarily Remote
Travel Requirement: Quarterly on-site visits
Location Requirement
Candidates must be located in the NYC, NY or Philadelphia, PA area to support occasional travel to the client site.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with BAAN IV / Infor systems, strong familiarity with legacy ERP environments, and the ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up.

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced ERP & Infrastructure Specialist to provide part-time support as they prepare for the retirement of a long-tenured BAAN IV / Infor System Administrator.

This role will focus on maintaining stability and continuity within a legacy ERP environment, primarily supporting on-premise manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be able to step in quickly with hands-on expertise to maintain the system, ensure operational continuity, and support infrastructure components during the transition period.

Key Responsibilities
Provide support and maintenance for BAAN IV / Infor ERP systems
Maintain and support on-premise ERP infrastructure
Troubleshoot system, database, and infrastructure issues related to the ERP environment
Ensure system stability and minimize operational disruptions
Work closely with internal teams during the transition from the current system administrator
Assist with ERP system monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades where applicable
Document processes and system configurations

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience supporting BAAN IV / Infor ERP environments
Experience working with legacy ERP systems
Hands-on experience with on-premise infrastructure
Ability to troubleshoot ERP and infrastructure issues independently
Experience supporting manufacturing ERP environments is preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
