Summary

  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities, including the ability to address team concerns, provide constructive guidance, and raise delivery risks in a timely manner.

  • Exposure to cryptographic systems, public key infrastructure (PKI), hardware security modules (HSMs), or payment and information security technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development frameworks, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative delivery practices.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing software development or firmware teams, preferably in environments involving security requirements, compliance standards, or hardware-integrated products.

  • Ability to evaluate technical deliverables, review architectural designs, and participate in code quality assessments without necessarily contributing code on a regular basis.

  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, maintain delivery commitments, and handle performance management and accountability situations objectively.

  • A degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience, is desirable. Candidates with substantial technical team management experience may also be considered.

  • Previous experience coordinating engineering teams working remotely or across geographically dispersed locations.
