Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OneStream Planning Consultant / Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in OneStream Forecasting, Budgeting, and Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional knowledge of OneStream's Planning capabilities and be able to quickly contribute to the support, enhancement, and optimization of the client's existing OneStream environment with minimal supervision.
This role requires hands-on experience configuring, developing, and supporting OneStream Planning applications while partnering with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to improve forecasting and planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance OneStream Planning and Forecasting applications.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance and FP&A teams.
- Design, configure, and implement budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning solutions within OneStream.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Workflows, Cube Views, Dashboards, Reports, and Data Integrations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable OneStream solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data validation concerns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support activities.
- Create technical and functional documentation, including process flows and solution designs.
- Provide recommendations for system enhancements and process optimization.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with OneStream platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with OneStream Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting modules.
- Experience supporting and enhancing existing OneStream implementations.
- Deep understanding of FP&A processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience developing:
- Business Rules
- Cube Views
- Dashboards
- Workflows
- Reports
- Data Management Processes
- Strong SQL and data integration experience.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OneStream certifications preferred.
- Experience with Financial Consolidation and Close processes.
- Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Corporate Performance Management (CPM/EPM) solutions.
- Experience integrating OneStream with ERP systems such as:
- SAP
- Oracle
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Workday
- Experience with VB.NET, C#, or scripting within OneStream.
- Prior consulting experience preferred.
