About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SIP and Session Border Controllers to support architecture and engineering functions for enterprise Employee Experience Technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep experience within the telecommunications industry, particularly working with Ribbon (Sonus) environments and VoIP technologies. This role involves working closely with engineering and business teams to design, test, and implement telecom solutions supporting enterprise voice infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support architecture and engineering activities for enterprise communication platforms.
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), document results, and develop test scripts.
- Create Methods of Procedure (MOP), low-level design documentation, and configuration guides.
- Implement and configure SonRibbon platforms (9k, 7k, and 2k).
- Provide advanced software and hardware support for telecom systems requiring complex integrated configurations.
- Work with technologies including Secure Logix, Intrado E911, SIP session management, LAN/WAN, and VoIP.
- Integrate telecom infrastructure with platforms such as Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys.
What We re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIP protocols and carrier/transport technologies.
- Proven experience working with Session Border Controllers.
- Mandatory experience with Ribbon (Sonus) platforms.
- Knowledge of VoIP, LAN/WAN networking, and SIP session management.
- Experience supporting telecommunication integrations and enterprise voice systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills working with both technical and business teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65 $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
