Senior Systems Engineer Cloud Engineer (AWS/Linux) W2 Only

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Linux infrastructure, automation, and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, cloud networking, and production support in large-scale environments.

This role requires strong troubleshooting, architecture, automation, and operational support experience across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenShift cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• 11+ years of overall IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineering experience with strong expertise in enterprise cloud environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering experience supporting production infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Linux/RHEL Administration including installation, patching, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Networking concepts including VPC, ELB/ALB, Security Groups, Peering, Routing, and Privatelink.
• Experience with IAM, SSO, SAML Federation, and Secrets Management implementations.
• Hands-on experience supporting OpenShift/OCP and multi-cloud environments including AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring and observability tools.
• Support and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure environments ensuring high availability, security, and operational stability.
• Configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems, middleware platforms, and cloud infrastructure services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide advanced operational support.
• Maintain disaster recovery processes, technical documentation, and infrastructure standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams for deployment and operational activities.
• Knowledge of database technologies including MySQL, RDS, Greenplum, and Gemfire is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, enterprise infrastructure, and IT operational best practices.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation support as required.
