Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Data Engineer to spearhead data initiatives while actively contributing to technical execution. The ideal candidate will lead data engineering efforts and remain deeply involved in building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and business intelligence reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead end-to-end data pipeline development (hands-on): ingestion → transformation → warehousing → BI.
Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT workflows.
Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting.
Write complex SQL queries and develop Python-based data transformation scripts.
Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools (Tableau / Power BI).
Support data-driven decision-making through structured analytics delivery.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
Strong understanding of data modeling
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Cloud data platform experience (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with modern data stack tools
Exposure to KPI tracking and performance analytics
