Summary
Program / Project Manager with Data Center Operation
NYC,NY (4days onsite)
Required Skills:
- Minimum 12+ years of IT Experience required
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Project manager or Program manager
- Strong hands on experience with building data center operations.
- Data center infrastructure: Server rooms, racks, cabling, structured cabling, raised floors, physical security.
- Power systems: UPS, PDU, generators, ATS, electrical distribution, backup power, power monitoring.
- Compliance & security: Physical access controls, audits, change management, SOPs/MOPs/EOPs, and security standards.
- Maintenance: Preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, equipment replacement, and planned shutdowns.
- Data center standards: Familiarity with concepts such as Uptime Institute Tier standards, TIA-942, ISO 27001, and ASHRAE guidelines.
- PMP or equivalent is plus
