Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization & Reporting Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and Snowflake. This role partners with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to transform business requirements into scalable, high-performing, and visually compelling analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, and data modeling, with experience delivering end-to-end business intelligence solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and publish interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards that meet business requirements for performance, usability, and accuracy.
  • Build and optimize semantic data models, calculated fields, DAX measures, and Tableau LOD expressions.
  • Develop efficient SQL queries, views, and reporting datasets in Snowflake.
  • Optimize reporting performance using techniques such as clustering, query profiling, materialized views, and query tuning.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to validate data models, define business metrics, and ensure data quality and lineage.
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
  • Implement row-level security, workspace governance, and certified datasets in Power BI.
  • Manage Tableau projects, permissions, data sources, and reporting assets.
  • Establish BI development best practices, including version control, documentation, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
  • Monitor dashboard usage and performance, optimizing slow reports and retiring obsolete content.
  • Support self-service analytics by curating trusted datasets and mentoring business users on BI tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise reports and dashboards using both Tableau and Power BI.
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Tableau Desktop (LOD Expressions, Parameter Actions, Dashboard Actions)
    • Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Data Modeling, Power BI Service)
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex analytical queries.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Data Warehousing
    • Dimensional Modeling
    • ELT/ETL Concepts
    • Modern BI Architecture
  • Experience translating business requirements into intuitive visualizations and analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake features including:
    • Snowpipe
    • Streams
    • Tasks
    • Dynamic Tables
    • Snowpark
    • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Experience supporting analytics in manufacturing, semiconductor, or supply chain environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Tableau certifications (Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Data Analyst).
  • Microsoft Power BI PL-300 certification.
  • SnowPro Core or other Snowflake certifications.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
