Summary:

The Senior Manager - IT Business Partner, Product Services sits within Technology & Global Services (TGS) and serves as a business-facing liaison to Product Services (Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Medical Affairs). The role leads demand intake and prioritization and translates business needs into well-defined initiatives and roadmaps that drive delivery of technology solutions and measurable value.

This position operates as a senior individual contributor in a regulated, global environment, influencing excellence through expertise, collaboration, and execution. The successful candidate will bring digital and AI experience to modernize Product Services workflows while maintaining alignment to enterprise standards, governance, security, and quality/regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Demand Execution
  • Partner with Product Services leaders to understand priorities, regulatory obligations, and operational needs
  • Shape and manage demand through the TGS operating system; ensure initiatives are defined, prioritized, and aligned to approved roadmaps, including digital and AI-enabled opportunities
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and communication across business, product, platform, and delivery teams
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations with fact-based recommendations

Delivery, Lifecycle Management & Product Support
  • Support delivery and lifecycle management of Product Services solutions within defined scope and governance
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, solution architects, and delivery teams to drive predictable outcomes aligned to roadmaps and standards (including architecture, security, and regulated compliance expectations)
  • Enable Product Services processes through technology, including automation and AI-enabled enhancements where appropriate (e.g., complaints, field actions, regulatory registrations, PLM, and in-scope Medical Affairs)
  • Drive issue triage and release readiness with support teams; ensure operational stability, supportability, and continuous service improvement

Program & Project Management
  • Lead or support execution of approved programs and projects, including planning, delivery coordination, stakeholder communication, and change management
  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization; lead post-implementation reviews to confirm outcomes align to approved business cases

Compliance, Validation & Audit Readiness
  • Ensure regulated Product Services systems and changes are executed in accordance with applicable requirements (e.g., cGxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and BD policies/standards
  • Support validation deliverables and evidence (e.g., requirements traceability, testing protocols, qualification activities) and ensure inspection-ready documentation
  • Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Security, and Risk teams during audits, inspections, and assessments; coordinate timely responses and remediation plans
  • Promote continuous improvement of regulated system controls (e.g., access, configuration, change control, periodic review, and appropriate automation/AI controls)

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with other IT Business Partners to promote integrated, non-siloed solutions
  • Identify and share improvements, standards, and best practices across TGS and Quality communities

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6-8 years supporting technology solutions in Product Services and other regulated functions within medical device/pharma (or similar)
  • Experience driving digital transformation (e.g., automation and AI-enabled solutions) in regulated environments
  • Working knowledge of relevant Quality and Regulatory standards for computerized systems (e.g., cGxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and how they apply across Product Services
  • Experience with system development lifecycle activities, including documentation, testing, and validation
  • Strong project and program coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Product Services platforms across Quality, Regulatory, and R&D (e.g., TrackWise, MasterControl, Rimsys, Kallik Veraciti, Teamcenter/Polarion), plus enterprise/integration & analytics (e.g., SAP, Pega, MuleSoft, Power BI)
  • Experience applying digital and AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., automation, analytics) to modernize regulated workflows
  • Familiarity with Product-based delivery models and Agile methodologies
  • Experience supporting global deployments and adoption of enterprise technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization
  • Hands-on experience with integrations and data/reporting for regulated platforms
