We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions across relational, NoSQL, and data lake environments. This role focuses heavily on Databricks-based pipelines and modern cloud data platforms, supporting both batch and real-time processing.
Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
- Build clean, reliable, and analyzable datasets from multiple data sources
- Develop Databricks pipelines across diverse data sources
- Implement data models, schemas, and storage strategies
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Create functional and technical designs for data engineering solutions
- Support analytics and AI/ML use cases using Python and/or R
- Work within Agile teams and CI/CD, DevOps environments
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering or software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data architecture
- Experience with Spark, Hive, Airflow, and big data technologies
- Hands-on experience with Databricks pipelines
- Experience with data quality tools and diverse data source types
Technology Experience- On-Prem (5+ years): MSBI (SSIS/SSAS), Informatica, Oracle GoldenGate, SQL Server, Oracle
- Cloud (3+ years): Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Python, Power BI, Azure Key Vault
- Experience with Docker/OpenShift, APIs & web services, and CI/CD pipelines preferred
