Overview

We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Manager as a key contributor and subject matter expert on the Business Intelligence team to enable our Product and Engineering Teams to make data-driven decisions. This role will be part of a team of Business Intelligence personnel who will work cross-functionally to understand evolving business needs and requirements. This role will be responsible for designing and developing analytics models, reports and presentations to guide the strategic decision-making of internal stakeholders. You will also use advanced and predictive analytics techniques to guide business decisions and proactively identify opportunities and threats.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of advanced analytics initiatives by evaluating and synthesizing data from multiple complex, enterprise sources to support strategic decisionmaking across Product, Engineering, and Technology domains.
  • Own the delivery of actionable insights and executiveready analysis, analyzing and reporting on core product, engineering, and operational metrics, and partnering with crossregional stakeholders to translate trends into clear guidance for senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, operational risks, and emerging product or platform trends, framing analytical findings in a way that directly influences roadmaps, investment decisions, and strategic priorities.
  • Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions that improve transparency, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency for Product and Engineering stakeholders, while enforcing consistency, accuracy, and governance.
  • Apply strong data architecture and modeling expertise to evaluate existing data assets and guide teams in building scalable, wellstructured data models that support experimentation, product development, engineering needs, and longterm sustainability.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to analyze initiative inputs, communicate assumptions and risks, and ensure analytical rigor, precision, and traceability across all data deliverables.
  • Lead through influence and mentorship, collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align on key metrics, support integrated planning, and elevate EWB's overall datadriven decisionmaking maturity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive analytics experience across Product, Engineering, Technology, or Business Analytics environments, with demonstrated enterprisescale impact.
  • 3-5+ years of experience leading and managing BI and analytics teams, including setting analytical standards, prioritization, and delivery across multiple initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical and programming tools, with 5+ years of handson experience in one or more languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Expertlevel proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI with a proven ability to develop clear, compelling, executiveready presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Deep experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker), including designing governed, scalable reporting and dashboard solutions.
  • Strong background in data architecture and modeling, with experience integrating data across disparate enterprise systems and guiding teams in building scalable, wellstructured data assets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in predictive and advanced analytics, including handson development of statistical models and application of data science techniques to generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with analytics engineering and modern data tooling preferred, along with exposure to data warehouse and ETL frameworks such as Snowflake, Informatica, SSIS, Boomi, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical audiences, including senior leadership and crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills, with a track record of framing ambiguous problems, assessing tradeoffs, and delivering precise, datadriven recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced, regulated, and evolving environment, with high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build alignment and consensus across crossfunctional and geographically distributed teams, influencing outcomes through credibility, collaboration, and clear communication.
  • Comfort operating under pressure, applying sound judgment amid shifting priorities while maintaining focus on enterprise outcomes.
  • Selfdirected, outcomesdriven mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while consistently raising the bar for analytical rigor and execution.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $200,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
