Power Systems Engineer

Job Description:



We are seeking an experienced NPDI Services Engineer - Power Systems to lead the deployment of next-generation AC/DC power solutions, including Medium Voltage (MV), UPS, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Microgrid technologies. This role partners with Engineering, Product Management, and Service Operations to ensure successful product launches, field readiness, commissioning, and scalable deployment strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in power systems, field service, commissioning, or deployment.
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC power systems, Medium Voltage (MV), UPS, BESS, or Microgrid solutions.
• Strong knowledge of one-line diagrams, protection schemes, FMEA, and system integration.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading technical deployment programs.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with MV switchgear, relays, and protection coordination.
• Knowledge of grid interconnection and microgrid controls.
• PMP certification is a plus
