We have an immediate need for a Senior Data Scientist Machine Learning & Big Data Engineering for a position based in Saint Louis, MO, USA. This opportunity focuses on building advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that improve enterprise network security, operational efficiency, and large-scale data insights within a modern cloud-driven data ecosystem.

In this role, the Senior Data Scientist will lead the development of end-to-end machine learning solutions that transform complex enterprise data into actionable intelligence. The position involves designing scalable analytics pipelines and building production-grade machine learning models that support predictive insights, anomaly detection, and operational optimization across enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate will perform large-scale exploratory data analysis, develop statistical and machine learning models, and implement advanced analytical frameworks including supervised and unsupervised learning, forecasting models, natural language processing, and Generative AI techniques. The role also includes collaborating with engineering and product teams to translate analytical insights into operational systems, defining model evaluation and experimentation strategies, and presenting findings through clear data narratives and visualizations. Additionally, the individual will mentor junior team members and help establish best practices in data science, responsible AI usage, and enterprise analytics frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python programming and distributed data processing using Spark along with deep experience in advanced machine learning and statistical modeling techniques. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases are essential for building scalable data pipelines. Experience working with AWS cloud services and large-scale data platforms is important, particularly in designing ETL pipelines and feature engineering workflows that support machine learning systems. Additional strengths include familiarity with Generative AI or NLP techniques, understanding of MLOps frameworks for deploying and monitoring models, and experience working in Linux-based environments.
