Summary

Title :Java / Web Engineer Consultant (AWS) -W2 only
Location: Holyoke, MA ( Hybrid)

Seeking an experienced Java/Web Engineer Consultant with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in AWS-based environments to support a high-priority upgrade and conversion project. The consultant will contribute immediately upon onboarding and collaborate closely with IT development teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot / Spring MVC
Develop and enhance front-end components using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, and Thymeleaf
Interact with Oracle databases using SQL and PL/SQL
Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
Deploy and manage code through Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Work directly with end users to gather and clarify business requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong proficiency in Java 17/21 and Spring MVC
Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL
Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX
Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently
Adaptable, self-driven, and able to perform under pressure

Advanced PL/SQL experience
