As a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST (TITLE 32), GS-2003-11, you will review, analyze, and interpret logistical directives and procedural instructions, to include internal controls from higher authority, and recommends local policy and procedures for the Division. Recommends substantial changes in technical, operational, and clerical procedures as appropriate. Performs extensive research, comprehensive analysis, and applies sound judgment in recommending resolution to major logistical problems, changing local policy, or assigning responsibility for projects to subordinate branches. Coordinates the activities of the Division with other functional area managers to correct problems, evaluate readiness, or perform complex logistical studies.

- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

QualificationsAREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open ONLY to ON BOARD excepted permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the Florida National Guard.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation.
MILITARY GRADES: Enlisted: E5 thru E7GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have Experience, education, or training which has provided you with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-11 must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
