Summary
Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer
Locations: Maple Grove, MN (Onsite)
Duration: Contract
Experience: 6–12 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste, and implement sustainable solutions
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem-solving workshops
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering)
- Analyze production data and KPIs to track performance and improvement opportunities
- Standardize best practices and ensure process documentation is maintained
- Support cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement initiatives
- Train and mentor teams on CI tools and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred)
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing/process improvement environments
- Expertise in tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, TPM, FMEA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Manufacturing / Industrial / Automotive / Heavy Engineering domains
