Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Domain Consultant with strong expertise in PolicyCenter configuration, integrations, and P&C insurance domain knowledge.

This role focuses on functional design, requirement analysis, configuration, integration development, and end-to-end implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter across Personal and Commercial Lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

PolicyCenter Configuration & Development

• Design, configure, and implement solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC).

• Customize PolicyCenter using Gosu programming language and Guidewire Studio.

• Develop product models, workflows, rating rules, underwriting rules, and policy lifecycle configurations.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Integration & Technical Design

• Design and implement integrations using SOAP and REST APIs.

• Support configuration and integration activities for end-to-end PolicyCenter implementations.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.

• Review design and code deliverables for quality and compliance.

Functional & Domain Collaboration

• Partner with client business teams to gather and analyze requirements.

• Translate business objectives into scalable PolicyCenter configurations and integrations.

• Support both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines implementations.

• Manage scope, estimations, and delivery planning.

Agile & Delivery Management

• Work within Scrum/Agile methodologies.

• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams and client stakeholders.

• Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications

Top Required Skills

1. Strong experience with Gosu programming and Guidewire Studio.

2. Expertise in Guidewire integrations (SOAP/REST APIs).

3. Guidewire Certification (Specialist / Professional / ACE) - Mandatory.

4. Strong understanding of P&C Insurance Domain.

Additional Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration.

• Experience managing end-to-end PolicyCenter implementations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience working with distributed teams (onsite/offshore).

Preferred

• Guidewire ACE Certification (added advantage).

• Experience across multiple Guidewire implementations.

• Exposure to large-scale insurance transformation programs.
