RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a financial services organization in NYC, is seeking a Functional Analyst/Full Stack Developer to support the analysis and modernization of banking technology platforms. This hybrid role combines business and functional analysis with hands-on development using React, Python, and SQL. The ideal candidate can understand business needs, evaluate existing technology capabilities, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze business processes, requirements, and application capabilities
* Translate functional requirements into technical solutions
* Develop and enhance applications using React and Python
* Work with SQL for data analysis, queries, and application development
* Collaborate with business, development, and technology teams
* Support platform modernization and technology transformation efforts
* Identify gaps and recommend functional or technical improvements
* Participate in Agile development and delivery activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of software development experience
* Hands-on Full Stack development experience
* Strong React front-end development skills
* Strong Python back-end development experience
* Solid SQL knowledge
* Banking or financial services industry experience
* Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* English proficiency at B1 level or higher
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred:
* Experience with application modernization or platform migrations
* Experience working in Agile, cross-functional technology
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
