Need Technical Business Analyst

Core Responsibilities

Privileged Access Management & Linux Security — 50%

• Work with Linux Engineering and CyberArk teams to onboard Linux root accounts into CyberArk and enable secure password rotation.
• Lead analysis, testing, and validation of PAM solutions, including monitoring privileged (sudo) user activity.
• Support CyberArk PSMP testing for SSH workflows; capture feedback and refine designs with technical teams.
• Build and manage timelines, project plans, and onboarding workflows.
• Analyze audit logs and server data to determine systems in scope and apply least‑privilege principles.
• Drive rollout of privileged access solutions through demos, workshops, and training sessions.
• Deliver project updates, test results, and roadmaps via PowerPoint presentations.
• Maintain documentation on workflows, test results, and project updates.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and change‑impact assessments.

SharePoint & Credential Remediation — 30%

• Review SharePoint and file‑share scan findings to identify clear‑text passwords or credential‑like content.
• Work with file owners to remove insecure password storage and migrate credentials into CyberArk or other approved tools.
• Prioritize remediation activities based on risk; support achieving a 20% remediation target by year‑end.
• Educate teams on secure credential management best practices.
• Track remediation progress and report updates to leadership.
• Maintain documentation, remediation trackers, and progress reports.

Security Operations & Support — 20%

• Support various ongoing identity and access management remediation tasks.
• Assist stakeholders with issues related to remediation efforts, Linux access, or CyberArk workflows.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, training materials, and brown‑bag sessions.
• Monitor daily security alerts/incidents in Splunk and the service management platform; perform needed remediation steps.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Strong familiarity with Linux environments—administration & troubleshooting.
2. Hands‑on BA/functional experience with CyberArk, especially for privileged access workflows.
3. Ability to work onsite in NYC, 5 days per week.
