Cloud Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (Java Applications), W2, Locals

Job Description:

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and hands-on expertise in deploying Java-based applications in the cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and platform teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based Java applications.

Responsibilities:

•     Deploy, configure, and manage Java applications on Google Cloud Platform

•     Work with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud SQL

•     Support application build, release, and deployment activities

•     Troubleshoot cloud and application-related issues

•     Ensure application scalability, performance, and security

•     Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams

Required Skills:

•     Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

•     Hands-on experience deploying Java applications in cloud environments

•     Understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring

•     Experience with CI/CD pipelines

•     Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)

Preferred Skills:

•     Google Cloud Platform certifications

•     Experience with microservices and Spring Boot

•     Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
