Our Technology Staffing Team is looking to speak with Boston-area candidates who would be a strong fit for the role outlined below.

Compensation:

$60-$120/hr, depending on experience and scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a cross-functional Scrum/Agile team to design, develop, and maintain user-facing product features using modern web and cloud technologies.
  • Build, test, deploy, and monitor software using CI/CD pipelines and best practices for reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Design and implement microservices and service-oriented architectures (SOA) with cloud-native patterns.
  • Embrace test-driven development (TDD) and maintain high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Debug and resolve complex issues across front-end, back-end, and cloud layers.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with message queuing/event-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Implement front-end components using React, Angular, Vue, or similar modern frameworks with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
  • Utilize AWS or Azure cloud services for compute, storage, serverless functions, and managed databases.
  • Collaborate with team members using Jira, Confluence, Git, and other modern development tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience, with strong fundamentals in system design, algorithms, and cloud architectures.
  • Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js for back-end development.
  • Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL/NoSQL databases, and message-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including serverless, compute, storage, and database offerings.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and other container orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to deliver quality features in iterative development cycles.
  • Location: Candidates must be local to Massachusetts; this position requires some onsite collaboration.
