DevOps Engineer
Location:  Houston Texas ( 5 Days onsite)

Introduction:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, build and maintain infrastructure, and implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in large scale applications/environments
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux
• Strong automation skills
• Expertise in AWS services
• Implement resiliency, performance, security, and disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Jules
• Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting and coding
• Proficiency in SQL

Requirements:

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms
• Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS)
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative, cross-functional teams
• Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices
