Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Grants Management Implementation Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of an enterprise Grants Management platform. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for grant lifecycle management, business process improvement, software implementation, and public sector grant administration, while partnering with business stakeholders and system vendors to modernize grant operations.

This opportunity is based in Richmond, VA, and is open to candidates within a 100-mile radius of Richmond, VA. The client is only considering candidates who can work without requiring present or future employment sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of an enterprise Grants Management platform
• Analyze and improve end-to-end grant lifecycle business processes
• Provide guidance on federal grant management standards and industry best practices
• Configure and optimize grant management software and workflows
• Assess and improve grant accounting, budgeting, reporting, and invoice processing processes
• Develop workflow documentation, process maps, field dictionaries, and training materials
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and software vendors
• Update policies, procedures, and operational documentation
• Monitor project progress, risks, and provide regular status updates
