Technical PM (React & Python)
Location: Remote – East Coast
Long term Contract
Role Overview:
- The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade applications across platforms.
- This role combines technical leadership with project management excellence to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and user experience benchmarks.
- You will work closely with product owners, engineering leads, UX/UI designers, QA teams, DevOps, and stakeholders across global markets to deliver scalable, secure, and performant mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure for projects.
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams (Android, iOS, Backend, QA, UX) across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Translate business requirements into technical project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and dependency mapping.
- Drive agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) with regular sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
- Monitor project health using KPIs such as velocity, cycle time, defect density, and release stability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalations, and blockers; maintain transparent communication with executive stakeholders.
- Own release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in project management within software development, with at least some focused on mobile application development.
- Experience with technologies: React & Python.
- Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (Git), issue tracking (Jira), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to C-level executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification.
- Experience leading teams across multiple delivery centers.
