Description

?Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. They Systems Administrator will support the IT O&M team to provide high performance, highly available server technology solutions.

This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide O&M support - install, configure, secure and harden, test, sustain, upgrade, remediate, decommission.
Support existing server-based solutions across a variety of major technology vendors
Troubleshoot and support and guidance to assess and remediate challenges primarily in the CDS domain.
Ensure CDS-based and enterprise-wide networking devices and components are tested, implemented, and maintained within operational and required configurations to provide the most secure operating environment possible.
Produce and maintain documentation for deployed systems, subsystems, components.

Qualifications

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
TS/SCI with polygraph
Possesses expertise in 1 or more operating systems, experienced with configuration, patch management, version and sub-version upgrades.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
