Controller Job with Remote or Onsite

In this Controller position you'll play a vital role with the responsibility to oversee "day-to-day" accounting functions and the efficiency of the business. As the Controller, you'll be responsible for the accounting operations of the company. This responsibility includes the production of periodic financial reports, the maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets that are designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.

Job Description:
Manage the company's accounting operations, maintain fiscal records and prepare financial reports.
Lead the accounts payable function and work with various vendors.
Develop, implement, and maintain credit and collection systems and practices to meet business needs while managing risk and maximizing cash flow.
Help prepare monthly financial reporting package and other related reports.
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing process.
Manage expenses to achieve company financial objectives by preparing departmental budget, managing expenses, approving major expenditures and continuously exploring means of reducing expense.
Manage, utilize and motivate staff to efficiently meet goals and objectives of the department.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Proven and successful accounting & finance team leadership experience.
Hands on experience in the various aspects of accounting functions (strong day-to-day cash and AP & AR management).
Experience working with Infor/Syteline ERP system is a strong plus or having worked with various ERP systems.
Manufacturing industry experience is strong plus, but not a must.
