Senior Technical Project Manager – Oracle Fusion Middleware / Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the assessment and modernization of a large Oracle integration landscape, moving Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Fusion Middleware (FMW) and EDI/B2B integrations to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
This is not a status-reporting role. The person we want has built OIC integrations themselves, can review designs and code with the team, and can step in when delivery is at risk. At the same time, they own the client relationship and the project. They manage expectations, handle tough conversations, protect scope and keep the engagement commercially healthy. We want someone practical and resourceful who reads situations quickly and gets things done in complex client environments.

Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for client business and IT stakeholders, up to executive level.
- Build trust quickly and become the client’s trusted advisor on integration modernization.
- Manage expectations, push back professionally when needed, and handle escalations calmly.
- Spot scope creep early, handle change requests, and protect delivery and margin.
- Find opportunities to extend or expand the engagement based on client needs.
Project Management
- Own scope, schedule, budget, resources and quality from assessment through go-live and hypercare.
- Build and manage project plans, migration wave schedules, estimates and resource plans.
- Maintain RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) and drive issues to resolution without waiting to be told.
- Coordinate onshore and offshore integration consultants, developers and testers.
- Plan and run cutovers, rollback strategies and go-live readiness.
- Report project health clearly and honestly to client leadership and internal management.
Hands-On Technical Leadership
- Lead current-state assessments of SOA Suite, OSB, FMW and EDI/B2B integrations, including the inventory, complexity analysis and migration feasibility.
- Define the target-state OIC architecture, migration patterns, conversion approaches and implementation sequencing.
- Design and review OIC solutions, including adapters, orchestrations, mappings, APIs, connectivity agents, security, monitoring and exception handling.
- Get into the details with developers: review integrations, troubleshoot hard issues and unblock the team.
- Set integration standards, architecture principles and governance.
- Plan and manage EDI/EDIFACT/X12 trading partner migrations and testing.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Run discovery workshops, architecture reviews and design sessions.
- Present architecture recommendations, risks and migration strategies to executives.
- Work across application, infrastructure, security and business teams.

- 10+ years in enterprise integration and middleware, with 10+ years of Oracle integration experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
- 5+ years managing client-facing technical projects, ideally in consulting or a systems-integrator setting.
- Proven delivery of at least one Oracle integration modernization or migration to OIC.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, Fusion Middleware, WebLogic Server and Oracle API technologies.
- Experience with EDI/B2B architectures (EDIFACT and/or ANSI X12), trading partner integrations and B2B transformations.
- Experience with REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, API management, event-driven and hybrid cloud integration patterns.
- Supply chain, procurement, logistics and order management integration knowledge.

- Oracle Cloud certification in OIC or related integration technologies.
- PMP, PMI-ACP or similar certification.
- Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Manufacturing, supply chain or distribution industry experience.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps delivery.
