Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales Data & AI Platforms who can engage senior technology leaders (CIO, CDO, CTO) and help them modernize legacy data environments into modern AI-ready data platforms. This leader will drive enterprise transformation initiatives by articulating a compelling business and technology value proposition around modern data architectures, analytics, and AI platforms. The ideal candidate is a consultative enterprise seller who understands both business outcomes and modern data technology stacks, and can guide customers from legacy data warehouses toward modern lakehouse, cloud data, and AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Sales Leadership
Own and drive strategic enterprise sales for data modernization and AI platform initiatives.
Build relationships with C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CDO, VP Data, VP Analytics).
Develop multi-million-dollar transformation deals around data and AI platforms.
Value-Based Consulting
Engage customers to understand:
Legacy data warehouse challenges
Data silos
Analytics scalability
AI readiness gaps
Articulate a clear value proposition around modernization, cost optimization, agility, and AI enablement.
Data & AI Platform Modernization/Guide customers in transformation initiatives such as:
Legacy EDW modernization
Data lake / lakehouse adoption
Cloud data platform migration
AI/ML data foundation
Real-time analytics architectures
Data governance and data mesh
Create a multi-year modernization roadmap aligned to business outcomes.
Strategic Deal Development
Lead complex sales cycles ($2M $20M+)
Build business cases for:
Cloud migration
Data platform modernization
AI enablement
Coordinate with architecture, delivery, and partner teams.
Thought Leadership
Position the company as a trusted advisor in Data + AI transformation.
Conduct executive workshops, data strategy sessions, and architecture discussions.
Participate in industry events and advisory conversations with senior executives.
